An animation of the Japanese folklore, "Kuchisake Onna." A woman who had her mouth slit from ear to ear returns from the dead as a vengeful spirit. Her mouth is covered by a surgical mask which is not seen as uncommon in Japanese culture as wearing one is a sign of courtesy to keep others from getting sick. She'll ask her victims, "私綺麗 (Watashi kirei)?" which translates to "Am I pretty?" If the person answers "no," she kills them with a pair of scissors. If they answer "yes," she will reveal her mouth and cut the victim's mouth to look like her's. Encountering Kuchisake Onna is a lose-lose situation.
